AZUSA, Calif. -  The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team traveled to Azusa Pacific on Tuesday afternoon, falling 98-62 in non-league action.

QUOTABLE:   

• "We just really struggled defensively tonight. Azusa got us in long rotations over and over again and just hit us with a barrage of three-pointers and physically outcompeted us on the glass. Offensively, they really contested everything around the rim and turned us over. It was just an undisciplined performance on both sides of the ball for us. We will get into the film and get a reset to try and prepare for Academy of Art on Friday."– head coach C.J. Haydock

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• APU settled into a rhythm early, jumping out to a 24-13 lead over the first nine minutes. 
• The Cougars never took the foot off the gas, riding a big halftime lead the rest of the way. 

STATS FROM THE GAME:  

• Coleman led the Sunbirds with 18 points while adding five rebounds and two assists. 
• Nate Kendricks turned in a strong performance, adding 15 points to the Sunbird totals. 
• Antunez was the final member of the Blue and Orange to score in double-figures, turning in 10 points. 
• FPU had the advantage on close-range shots, scoring 28 points in the paint compared to APU's 20.
