LA MIRADA, Calif. – Nate Kendricks led the Fresno Pacific University men's basketball team with a career-high 25 points, but it wasn't enough as the Sunbirds suffered their first loss of the season to Biola 84-76 in a high-scoring match-up on Thursday night.
QUOTABLE
"I thought we had some really good stretches offensively tonight. Great two-way performance from Kendricks, and solid contributions off the bench from
D.J. Searcy and
Marten Maide. We couldn't find an answer consistently on defense and shot it poorly from deep. Ultimately, to win on the road in southern California you have to put together a really complete performance, and tonight a couple of stretches where we lost focus really make the difference."." head coach
C.J. Haydock.
