Sunbirds Force Draw in Season Finale

IRVINE, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific University men's soccer team played their season finale against Concordia Irvine on Saturday night. The match featured heavy offense from both squads, as the Sunbirds and the Eagles tied 4-4.
  
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • (21:27) The Sunbirds trailed the Eagles 1-0 when Caesar Angulo scored his first goal of the season off an assist from D'Andre Renteria.
  • (26:36) The Birds took a 2-1 lead when AntonioAngel Lepe scored his fourth goal of the season that was set up by Fellipe Souza.
  • (46:55) The Eagles retook the lead with a pair of goals when Marley Edwards fire a shot that beat the keeper for his third goal of the season.
  • (78:24) Angel Ruelas gave the Sunbirds a late lead when his third goal this season put the team up 4-3
