RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's water polo team was back in action Saturday with day two of the Lancer Joust. The Sunbirds dropped a heartbreaker against Chapman in game one, 19-16, followed by a 19-7 win over Crafton Hills. FPU has now won three of their last five games.
QUOTABLE
"It was a solid day," said head coach
Bryan Suhovy. "Although we took a loss this morning the guys continue to learn lessons and show the fight they are capable of. Defensively we struggled this morning and we continue to recognize we need to improve there. The afternoon game we controlled from the start. It was an opportunity to focus on development and that's what we did. I continue to be impressed by these guys."
