FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team came away with a four-point home win on Saturday, defeating Hawai'i Hilo in PacWest Conference action. Four Sunbirds scored in double-figures, including sophomore 
Spencer Heimerdinger, who gave the Blue and Orange a career-high 18 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
	- The Sunbirds controlled the opening tip, and Adrian Antunez hit his first three shots of the night to help FPU jump out to an early 10-3 edge.
- FPU saw their lead swell to as many as nine points in the first half, but the Vulcans carried a 44-41 advantage into the locker room at the intermission.
- The two teams went back-and-forth for much of the second half, but Heimerdinger knocked down four clutch free throws down the stretch to help give the home team the win. 
 
STATS FROM THE GAME:
	- Antunez and Aamondae Coleman each went for 17 points, while Raine McKeython chipped in 12 of his own.
- Kupaa Harrison and Sasa Vuksanovic combined to give the Vulcans 45 points and 12 rebounds, and Kaleb Gilmore added 10 points off the bench.
- A.J. Kirby collected eight rebounds to help the Sunbirds win the battle of the boards by a margin of 34-22.
- The Sunbirds were nearly automatic as a team from the charity stripe, knocking down 18-of-20. 
 
BEYOND THE BOX:
	- Heimerdinger is one of six Sunbirds to lead the team in scoring in a game this season.
