REDLANDS, CALIF. – The Sunbirds competed in day two of the Inland Empire Tournament. They opened up the day with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and then followed with La Verne. FPU dropped their first game to CMS but bounced back and picked up their first win of the season over La Verne.
"We needed the win and we got it. It's always nice to finish off the weekend that way.
Curtis Vidinoff really stepped up today scoring four goals, and
Zach Zetz scores the game winner under pressure in the last seconds of the game. Our freshman really represented this weekend. As we continue to learn and grow our goal is that each weekend and game is better than the last," said head coach
Bryan Suhovy.
