FRESNO, CALIF.  – Fresno Pacific traveled to Santa Clara for their final WWPA game before heading to the WWPA Conference Championship. The Sunbirds fell to the Broncos 8-16 at the Sullivan Aquatics Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• - Santa Clara got on the board first then Jacob Fairchild answered with the 'Birds first goal of the game. The Broncos responded with a goal then Fairchild grabbed his second goal. Santa Clara scored two more goals in the first quarter while Fresno added one.
• - The Broncos doubled their score in the second quarter and Fairchild added his third goal of the game.
• - Santa Clara blanked Fresno Pacific in the third quarter while they added three goals and took an 11-4 lead on the 'Birds. 
• - FPU managed to double their score in the fourth quarter while the Broncos added five more.  

 
STATS OF THE GAMES:

• Jacob Fairchild scored a team high of three goals off of six shots.
• Senior Cody Wickman added two goals for the 'Birds in the loss.
• In the cage Josh Ramage totaled 18 saves.
