FRESNO, Calif. – Despite coming out fiery in the first quarter and leading at halftime the Sunbirds fell to the Warriors of Stanislaus on Tuesday, November 26
th in their last non-conference game of the season. The Sunbirds had four players score in the double digits with
Jessica Malazarte having a team high of 20 points and
Cassie Pisik recording her 17
th career double-double.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds opened up the game of with a four-point lead as
Bayli McClard and
Cassie Pisik scored on back-to-back possessions. FPU ended the first quarter with an 11-point lead over Stan State.
• Fresno made six-straight free throws to extend their lead to 13-points. The Warriors went on a nine-point lead to end the second quarter and close in on the Sunbirds' lead.
• A three-pointer by the Warriors tied it up at 44-44 and held the lead till a
Jessica Malazarte three-pointer put the 'Birds up by one-point. Stan State took the lead back to close out the third quarter.
• The fourth quarter was all Stanislaus State as they out- scored the Sunbirds 16-3 in the final quarter and picke dup the win.
