RIVERSIDE, CALIF. – Fresno Pacific traveled down to California Baptist for a WWPA contest. The Sunbirds looked to upset the No.20 Lancers but came up short.
"Although we lost I'm proud of how the guys played. We had a specific game plan and they executed well. We had some unexpected detours when driving down and the game was postponed. That could have had a big effect on the team physically and mentally, but our guys did not let it effect them. They were focused and even then several guys stepped up. It was a solid game for us. We are now ready for some rest and get back at it against Ottawa and Austin tomorrow," said head coach
Bryan Suhovy.
