AZUSA, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team couldn't overcome a sluggish defensive performance on Thursday night, as the Sunbirds fell to Azusa Pacific 96-63 in PacWest play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• FPU led 16-15 after the under 12 media timeout in the first half, but a cold streak put the Sunbirds down 46-25 at the intermission.
• APU carried the momentum into the second half and ran away with the win.
