• FPU is looking to pick up its first win of the 2018 season this weekend.Â

• Concordia enters Friday at 1-8 overall and 0-1 in PacWest play. The Eagles lone win came against American International to start the year. Most recently, CUI fell to Azusa Pacific in straight sets on Wednesday on the road.
• Patience O'Neal leads the Eagles with a 3.00 kills per set average, which ranks seventh in the PacWest.

• Biola currently sits at 4-3 overall and is set to open conference play on Saturday against the Sunbirds. The Eagles are coming off a 3-0 sweep of Sonoma State at the West Region Showcase, a tourney they finished 2-2 at. The two losses came against ranked opponents Cal State San Bernardino (#9) and Western Washington (#15).
