IRVINE, Calif. – Fresno Pacific's late surge wasn't enough on Friday, as the Sunbirds fell to Concordia 12-10 in Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) play at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds couldn't overcome a slow start, as FPU trailed 6-2 at the half.
• FPU found the back of the cage eight times in the second half, but it wasn't enough as CUI held on for the conference win.
