ABOUT THE SUNBIRDS
• Fresno Pacific enters as one of the hottest teams in the league, as the Sunbirds have won four of their last five matches. FPU most recently defeated Holy Names and Academy of Art on the road last week by scores of 3-1.

Christina Tran was named the PacWest Player of the Week on Monday after leading the Sunbirds to a pair of wins last week, which was highlighted by a rare triple double. In five sets against Notre Dame de Namur, the junior recorded 27 assists, 19 digs and 13 kills to become only the 12th player in Division II to reach the feat this season.On the week, Tran also had four blocks and a conference-leading eight aces. She set a season-high for assists in the next match with 45 in a four-set win against Holy Names. She added another 44 helpers in a victory at Academy of Art to push her total to 241 assists on the year. Tran had double-digit digs in all three matches.
