HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds and Spartans battled back and forth throughout the match in the opener. Down a pair of scores with just over four minutes to play,

• After scoring two goals in the opening quarter against the top-ranked Trojans, the Sunbirds were held to only one the rest of the way. USC's 7-0 run put the game out of reach for FPU.
