FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's water polo team couldn't slow down #9 UC Davis on Thursday night, as the Sunbirds fell 20-3 in Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) play at the Clovis West Swim Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The league-leading Aggies proved too much too handle, as FPU fell behind 12-0 as halftime approached.
• The 'Birds then found the back of the cage three different times during the second half.

STATS OF THE GAME:

Jacob Fairchild scored twice for FPU, while
Uros Pelemis added the other score.
Paul Siebenaler assisted on all three goals.
• The Sunbirds were held to 1-of-9 on powerplays, while UCD finished the night with a .690 shooting percentage.

• FPU has now taken on 13 ranked opponents on the year.
• The Sunbirds supported the Basser Center for BRCA research at the University of Pennsylvania with a Breast Cancer Awareness night.
