Fellipe Souza.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Silverswords got on the board first and held off the Sunbird attack to carry a 1-0 lead into the intermission.
• Fresno Pacific got a goal back 19 minutes into the second half before breaking the tie late.
• The Sunbirds allowed their hosts just one more shot before the final horn, but the Silverswords were unable to get a good look at the goal and missed high. Â
SCORING:
• (13:25) Makota Shoji handled the pass after Isaiah Kuloloia's lob over the defense, chipping it over the head of FPU keeper
Patrick Timmer for the goal.
• (64:16) After a hard foul,
Fellipe Souza connected on a penalty kick for the equalizer.
• (86:12) Souza struck again after stealing the ball and pushing a shot into the back of the net. Â
STATS OF THE GAME:
• Timmer tallied three saves on the afternoon, while Chaminade's Bernd Buescherhoff recorded five.
• FPU outshot their hosts 13-11, including a mark of 7-4 on frame.
• Each team earned a pair of corner kicks in the match.
BEYOND THE BOX:
• The Sunbirds have outshot their opponent 12 times this season, and they are 8-4 in those contests.
• Souza now leads the team in goals and is one of just seven players in the league with at least ten this season. Teammate
