BELMONT, Calif.   – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team dropped to 2-2-0 in PacWest play on Saturday, falling 3-2 in overtime to Notre Dame de Namur.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Argos started the scoring in the game's 27th minute and added a goal to push the lead to 2-0 heading to halftime.
• Fresno Pacific cut into the deficit early in the second half before tallying the equalizer 14 minutes later.
• With one second to play in the overtime period, NDNU snuck a shot into the back of the net to pick up the victory.
SCORING:
• (26:02) NDNU leading scorer Ellie Mujushi fielded a long ball over the top from Kelsey Rodriguez, and a shot to the far post gave the Argos their first lead of the day.
• (44:34) Adilene Ruiz put the home team in front 2-0 with a shot from outside the box that went just over the head of FPU keeper

Mariah Montoya sent a ball over the NDNU defense, allowing
Anissia Gonzalez to get the Sunbirds on the scoreboard with a breakaway goal.
• (57:41) After an NDNU foul in the box, FPU chose Montoya to take the penalty kick, and she delivered to tie the game at 2-2.
• (99:59) Samantha Sanchez' short corner found the foot of Allyssa Valente, who quickly passed to Mujushi for the game-winner. Â
STATS OF THE GAME:
• Hammond picked up six saves in the net, while NDNU counterpart Abigail Cebrero tallied eight in the victory.
• Each team took 16 shots, while Fresno Pacific managed to put more on frame (10-9).
• The Argos earned six of the game's nine corner kicks, proving to be a key part of their offense. Â

BEYOND THE BOX:
• Mujushi moves into the top spot on the conference leaderboard with nine goals. Wednesday was her third multi-score game of the season and her first in league play.
• Hammond has now picked up at least six saves in five games this season, and she has now recorded 151 in her career.
• Montoya and Gonzalez are tied with one another for team lead in goals with three, while six other Sunbirds have found the back of the net.
