DAVIS, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's water polo team faced the ninth-ranked team in the nation on Saturday, as the Sunbirds fell to UC Davis 24-2 in Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) action at Schaal Aquatics Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• FPU fell behind 4-0 to start the game before
Lazar Raca found the back of the cage for FPU. The Sunbirds then cut the deficit to 5-2 with a goal from
Uros Pelemis, but UCD managed to extend its lead to 11-2 at the half.
• It was all Aggies the rest of the way, as UC Davis outscored FPU 13-0 the final two frames.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Raca and Pelemis were the goal scorers for FPU, while
Erik Brown and
Kyle Eoff added an assist apiece.
• UC Davis outshot the Sunbirds 38-19 on the day.
