FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno Pacific outlasted Chaminade in two overtimes, 112-108, on Saturday night in PacWest action at the Special Events Center. The Sunbirds made a season-best 13 threes and used a balanced scoring attack of four players in double-figures to earn the win in an instant classic.

FPU improves to 3-13 overall and 3-6 in the PacWest with the win, while CUH falls to 11-7 overall and 7-4 in league play.

Mike Crawley led the Sunbirds with 27 points and 12 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the year, while adding two blocks and a pair of steals.
Spencer Krannitz added 20 points, five assists and four rebounds and
T.J. Viney totaled 17 points, five rebounds and three assists.

The Sunbirds jumped out to a 46-40 lead at the intermission behind its best offensive output in a half this season. FPU shot 49 percent in the opening stanza and drilled six threes, three coming from Krannitz.

A Crawley layup three minutes into the second half gave the Sunbirds their biggest lead of the night, 52-44, before Chaminade climbed back into the game. Down one with 4:23 to play, FPU ran off an 8-1 run to jump ahead by six after a three from
Suhail Mohammadi made the score 86-80. The Sunbirds held the lead by three with 40 seconds to play, but Rondell Goodwin's three forced the first overtime period.

FPU would go on to lead by four in the first extra frame after a layup from Crawley, but the Silverswords wouldn't lay down and scored the final two possessions down the stretch to once again move the game into extra time.

Down 108-107 with 48 seconds to play in the second overtime period, Crawley grabbed an offensive rebound and converted a layup to put the Sunbirds up for good. A free-throw from Viney extended the lead to three, before
R.J. Horn sealed the win with a pair of free throws with three seconds to play.

The Sunbirds shot 51 percent from the floor, including a 48 percent clip from deep. FPU received 39 bench points compared to CUH's eight.
Kavika Jimenez scored a career-best 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the bench, while
Jordan Belasco scored eight points and dished out five assists off the bench.
The 220 combined points between the two teams set a new PacWest conference record for most points in single game and was only the seventh conference game where both teams scored 100. The Sunbirds' 112 points were the most points scored since Nov. 18, 2014.

Sam Daly led Chaminade with 26 points and five assists, while Rohndell Goodwin added 24 points and seven rebounds.
