IRVINE, CA - The Fresno Pacific women's basketball team fell to Concordia of Irvine 60-53 Saturday evening in GSAC play at CU Arena. The contest was a tug-of-war that included 14 lead changes with the Eagles pulling away in the later part of the second period.

Jessica Torrecillas led the way for the Sunbirds with 19 points, joined by senior
Jessica Mazza who chipped in with 14 points and dished out six assists.
Junior guard Nicole Flu scored a team-high 19 points for Concordia, while teammate Lauren Sahli recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Sunbirds had a 22-21 edge at the half after exchanging the lead seven times with the Eagles during the first period of play. In the end, Concordia simply proved to be too much for the Sunbirds down the stretch.
With the loss, the Sunbirds drop to 5-14, and 2-7 in GSAC play.
