FRESNO, Calif. – No. 1 Fresno Pacific (22-0, 11-0 GSAC) took down another nationally ranked GSAC opponent in No. 17 Point Loma (15-6, 5-6 GSAC).  The Sunbirds swept the match winning 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

Keke Wang led the Sunbirds with nine kills while Martina Gregusova finished the night with eight kills of her own.  #Lisa Shilling# followed with six kills on nine attempts and no errors for a .667 hitting percentage.  Wang and Gregusova each hit well also with one error apiece.

Mariah Mandelbaum led with 17 digs for the Sunbirds, and Erika Adachi finished with 15 assists.

The Sunbirds held Point Loma under a .100 hitting percentage for the match with a .000 percentage for the final set.

The Sunbirds will continue their play for their week going back-to-back with Point Loma and San Diego Christian.  Their game tomorrow against San Diego will begin at 3 p.m.
