Fresno, Calif. – It was announced that Fresno Pacific men's soccer player Daniel Spieth earned NAIA All American 2nd team honors as selected by the NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Selection Committee.
Spieth is an international student from Stuttgart, Germany. He attended Lessing Gymnasium Winnenden High School and transferred to FPU as a junior from the University of Kassel, Germany.
Daniel has made an immediate impact for the Sunbirds in his first season starting 14 of 15 matches and scoring at team high 13 goals with 3 assists for a total of 29 points. His 6'2” size, speed, and opportunism have made him one of the top offensive players in the GSAC and the NAIA this 2008 season.
Spieth is a declared Education major with a minor in English and Physical Education and plans on eventually going into coaching in the future.
