Scott Garvis is an alum of Hoover High School. He attended CSU Fresno, where he was a member of the 1995 men's soccer team. He earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Fresno State in 2000.
Scott coached boys soccer at Hoover High School from 1994 to 2000. He was Assistant Varsity Coach for two years and Head Coach for two years. In 2001 he became the Assistant Head Coach at Benedictine University. He then moved to Clovis East High School, where he was Assistant Coach 2001-2003. He was Varsity Assistant Coach at Buchanan High School 2003-2006. Scott is currently the Varsity Head Coach at Clovis East High School, a position that he has held since 2006.
Scott has been the assistant goalkeeper coach at Fresno Pacific since 2007.
Scott and his wife, Carmen, have two sons: Roberto and Daniel.
