Boatman made six appearances on the mound for the Sunbirds this spring, posting a 1.73 earned run average and picking up 22 strikeouts in 26.0 innings of work. A Second Team All-PacWest selection in 2019, the right hander picked up seven strikeouts over five innings against Western Oregon before racking up seven more against Academy of Art.
