At the Stanford Invitational, Bagley clinched the pole vault title at the Stanford Invitational with a 5.60m (18-4½) jump. Not only did Bagley break the school record in the pole vault, he flew to the top of the NCAA DII all-time list, landing at the No. 5 spot. He is currently ranked first in the nation, improving from his 5.35m mark at the Johnny Mathis Invitational to 5.60m in the span of a few weeks. He was named the USTFCCCA Athlete of the Week and the PacWest Conference Field Athlete of the Week.
