Over the weekend, Kiprop led the Sunbirds to a first-place finish at the Fresno Invite at Woodward Park. He ran the four mile course in 19:28, good for an average of 4:52.1 per mile. The team as a whole grabbed four of the top five spots, and finished in first with only 20 points. American River came in second with 42 points.
