Julie Ramirez

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Former Sunbird standout Julie Ramirez joined Coach Time Beauregard’s staff in August 2025.

A four-year starter for FPU, Ramirez averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds per game in her senior season. She was the team’s second-leading scorer and led the Sunbirds in scoring five times, showcasing consistent offensive impact and leadership. Julie holds a career free throw percentage of 79%, ranking among the top in program history.

Before FPU, Ramirez was a dominant player at Heritage High School in Brentwood, CA, earning League MVP and All-League First Team honors while averaging 15 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds per game.

In her new role, Ramirez brings a high basketball IQ that will immediately lend itself to her responsibilities in player development, game-day preparation, recruiting support, and special projects. Furthermore, her leadership, tireless work ethic, and positivity will strengthen alumni relations, community outreach, team culture, and provide emotional support and mentorship that promotes players’ mental health and morale.

Julie was a stalwart for our program on and off the court for years. She helped elevate our program and culture through her tireless work ethic and infectious energy. My expectation—and hers—is that she will continue to be a culture driver in this new role. I’m excited that so many new players will have Julie as a guiding voice of maturity and experience, helping them navigate the sacrifices and challenges of college athletics. Julie is unwavering in her commitment to be a bright, positive influence on those around her. It will be a tremendous asset to have her in the office every day, teaming with us to move our program forward and better serve our student-athletes. Her incredible insight into what it takes to commit to success as a college athlete will be invaluable for our team. I expect Julie to tackle this new role with energy, excitement, and maturity, challenging herself to grow in new ways as a leader and mentor.”
