As a Junior (2010) - Appeared in seven matches for the Sunbirds, including the national tournament first-round win over Shawnee State (11/30)....recorded four digs, including two in a win vs. Westmont (10/9).

Prior to FPU- Played two seasons at Gavilan College for coach Kevin Kramer and was named first team all-coast conference as a sophomore....That same year she helped lead the team to a conference title....She also shined in the classroom, earning national honorable mention as a scholar athlete....Named Gavilan student-athlete of the year....Played high school volleyball at Mount Madonna High School for coach Gabrielle Houston Neville....As a sophomore helped lead the team a a conference title, while being named Most Improved and league sophomore of the year....helped guide the team to a division V state championship as a senior.

Personal- Born December 1, 1990....parents are John and Sylvia....has a brother, Kyle....hobbies include playing the harp, riding horses and swimming....Tessa is a biology major with plans of becoming a large-animal veterinarian.
