Vazquez holds numerous United Soccer Coaches diplomas, highlighted by the “National” diploma he received in early 2021. He also holds USSF “D” and “C” licenses. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management at Otterbein University in 2016.

Over the years, Vazquez has been active in the local youth soccer ranks wherever he has been. His youth coaching career started during his time in Ohio at Otterbein when he coached for the Classics Eagles Soccer Club. From 2013-2018, Vazquez coached at multiple youth levels, including U9 Boys and Girls, U15 Boys, U14 Girls, U15 Girls, and U13 Boys. Vazquez also served as a volunteer assistant coach with the Otterbein men’s soccer team, and the boys’ Head JVA Coach at Olentangy Liberty School.

Another program that Vazquez spent significant time with was Superkick Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. Starting in 2010, he served as a staff coach that instructed small group training sessions, skill training sessions, and technical development training sessions. Vazquez remained in that role until February 2016, when he transitioned to the club’s Director of Program Operations. He served in the role from Feb. 2016 to Aug. 2018. During that time, he was responsible for the creation of a master facility schedule, hiring and training new employees, and raising funds for the club.
