Landon Miller was hired to lead the Fresno Pacific Men’s and Women’s Cross Country programs on July 1, 2025.
Miller joins the Sunbirds after serving as assistant cross country and track & field coach at NCAA Division II’s Colorado Christian University, where he coached numerous All-Americans, All-Conference performers, and NCAA National Championship finalists. Before CCU he spent one year as a volunteer assistant coach at Liberty University.

Coach Miller understands that success is not just measured by times and trophies, but by the growth of character and commitment to Christ. We’re confident he will lead our team with purpose and excellence."
The Millersburg, Indiana native was a six-time All-American in cross country and indoor track at Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as a two-time NAIA national runner-up. After graduating from IWU, Miller continued competing as a grad transfer at Division I’s Liberty University and qualified for the NCAA East Regional in men’s steeplechase.
An avid outdoorsman and mountain biker, Miller is excited to spend time exploring the mountains and experiencing the broad varieties of outdoor activities that the Fresno area offers.
Miller earned his undergraduate degree in Sport Management with a minor in Coaching from Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as a masters degree in Sport Management – Athletic Administration & Coaching from Liberty University.
