Biography
Sunbird Notes - Also a member of the men's basketball team.
Prior to FPU - Competed on the team at Dakota County Technical College under head coach Ben Davis....averaged a double-double, with 14.4 points per game on 54% shooting from the field to go along with 10.2 rebounds....named Team Captain and earned All Region honors....prepped at Eastview High School, where he competed on the team that spent time ranked in the top 50 nationally.
Personal - Son of Anthony and Sarah Burt....has four siblings: Julianna, Ava, Cece and Matias....chose FPU because he saw it as a great opportunity to develop personally and set a successful path while being surrounded by a caring group of coaches, teammates and administration....loves to eat sushi....favorite movie is the Harry Potter series....likes to read Yu Yu Hakusho....attends the Basilica of St. Mary Catholic Church....Sam is an exercise science major who hopes to play professionally then become a teacher and coach.
