As a Junior (2019) – highlighted her first year with the Blue and Orange by scoring points for the Sunbirds in the long jump and triple jump at the PacWest Championships….her marks in both events (5.52m – long jump, 11.31m – triple jump) signified lifetime bests….clocked a career best 15.76 in the 100m hurdles at the Hornet Invitational earlier in the season....named Academic All-PacWest.

Prior to FPU - Spent two seasons at Hartnell College....prepped at Christopher High School.

Personal - Parents are Lori Romero (mom), Gabe Romero (dad) and Clint Wheeler (stepdad)....has one sibling named Travis....her dad played football at Fresno State and her stepdad also played football at Chico State....person she most admires is her mom....Haley is a mathematics major with plans to become a high school math teacher.
