Biography
As a Junior (2018) – season highlights included a strong performance at the PacWest Championships, where she recorded a career best 12.56 in the 100m en route to scoring for FPU in the event….clocked a season best 25.86 in the 200m at the Sunbird Invitational.
Prior to FPU - Spent two seasons at Yuba College under head coach Montrell Williams....ran 12.11 in the 100m and 25.35 in the 200m....prepped at River Valley High School.
Personal - Daughter of Jennifer Emerson....has a brother named David....greatest sports thrill was breaking two school records in the same day....chose FPU for the team dynamic and atmosphere....person she most admires is her former coach Montrell Williams....favorite movie is Zootopia, while her favorite show is The Office....roots for the San Francisco Giants....favorite athlete is Allyson Felix....Alyssa is an English major.
