Prior to FPU - Spent four years on the varsity track & field team at Selma High School for coach Haskell Hensen....was team captain, two-time MVP and two-time coaches award winner....posted top times in the hurdles and 400 meters.

Personal - Born April 4, 1989....son of Rudy and Brenda Reyes....has one sister Amanda and a niece Emalyn....chose FPU for the team and coaching staff....person he most admires is Deirdre Wyrick....favorite food is Mexican or anything Deirdre makes....favorite show is SportsCenter....favorite books are the Bible and Of Mice and Men....favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys....favorite athlete is Edwin Moses....person he would most like to meet is Usain Bolt....hobbies include coaching, working out and cooking....Alex earned his degree in kinesiology and is working on his master's in secondary teaching....he hopes to one day coach track & field at the college level.
