Biography
Personal - Clinton, who goes by "Woogie" was born and raised in Fresno....He is the son of Michael and Davonne Yada...His favorite books include anything Shakespeare, "Call of the Wild" and "Angels and Demons"...His favorite movies are "Love Actually" and "Gladiator"...He has traveled to Spain and Italy...He enjoys going to the movies and to the beach...Clinton is a Pre-Health major.
Prior to FPU - Clinton is a graduate of Central High School, East Campus...As a swimmer, he was named team MVP...He earned First Team All League honors...He also played water polo...He was team captain and earned the coaches' award three consecutive years.
As a freshman (2008) - Clinton was part of the 2008 men's team that took Runner-Up at the NAIA Swimming and Diving Championship... At Nationals, he totaled 37 points...He placed 3rd in the 1650 Yard Freestyle and took 5th place in the 500 Yard Freestyle...He was named First Team All-American.
As a sophomore: Woogie was a part of the 2010 NAIA national championship men’s team…At Nationals, he totaled 36 points in individual events, finishing third in the 1650 freestyle, fifth in the 500 freestyle, and 11th in the 200 freestyle.
