Biography
As a Senior (2013-14) – Turned in solid performances throughout the season…Won the diving events against UC Santa Cruz scored 287.30 on 3-meter…Won both diving events against Biola and scored 239.55 on 1-meter…He placed second on both 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the PCSC Championships…Scored 294.10 on 1-meter, which is second highest in school history…Scored 297.10 in the finals on 3-meter, his preliminary score of 309.90 broke the school record.
As a Junior (2012-13) - Started strong at the UNLV Invitational finishing fifth on 1-meter (203.70) and sixth on 3-meter (224.85)...He posted his season best scores at the PCSC Championships, placing fourth on both boards...Scoring 246.35 on 1-meter and 267.70 on 3-meter...His performances placed him second in the Sunbirds all-time records.
Prior to FPU - Adam is a graduate of Tulare Western High School....he was part of the dive team for three years under coach Shannon Martinez....he was the NYL champion in 2009-2010....he attended College of the Sequoias for two years....was part of the dive team under coach Deidra Alves....he was the BVC conference champion in 2011-2012....finished second in the CCCAA Norcal championships in the 1m and 3m and finished second in the CCCAA State championships in the 1m.
Personal - Born August 7, 1992....son of Scott and Lisa Mahan....he has a sister named Emily....his greatest sports thrill thus far is getting second at the State meet....his favorite food is steak....his favorite movie is "Inception"....his pre-dive ritual is drying his head with a 'chamois' followed by a kiss....he is Liberal Studies major.
