Career Cross Country Results

As a Freshman (2018) – at the NCAA Division II West Region Championship, he scored for the Sunbirds with a time of 34:06.41 in the 10k race….also scored for FPU at the PacWest Championships (33rd, 26:32.4, 8k)….clocked a career-best 26:24.7 in the 8k at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational....named Academic All-PacWest.

Prior to FPU - Prepped at Madera South High School and spent two years on the varsity team under head coach Eloy Quintana....2016 Division I valley champions....2017 CMAC league champion....2016 and '17 CMAC team champions....Dewitt Invite winner, Kingsburg 2 Mile champion, Clovis North Twilight winner and Rich Parris Twilight champion....best times of 15:40 in the 5k, 9:20 in the 2 mile and 8:47 in the 3k....also played volleyball for two seasons....took part in various theater events as well.

Personal - Son of Angela and Gerardo Garcia....has three siblings named David, Emily (twin) and Ryan....person he most admires is his dad....enjoys watching the Star Wars, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series'....favorite book is The Giver by Lois Lowry....his good friend, Nick Hernandez, runs at Embry Riddle....favorite song is Reckless Love by Cory Asbury....hobbies include volleyball and theater....attends Westside Christian Fellowship church....Seth is a history major with career goals to become a high school teacher.
