As a Senior (2021) - Ran a 5:28.18 in the 1500m... ran in the 5000m race and clocked in at 20:08.52 (4/23)... competed in the 10,000m race and finished with a time of 43:18.52 at the PacWest Championships (4/30)...

2020 Season Canceled due to COVID-19

As a Senior (2019) - Ran a 22:43.19 at the PacWest Championships … good enough for 19^th overall … won the team title at PacWest Championships … ran a 22:37.8 at the NCAA DII West Region Championships … good enough for 102^nd overall … earned Third Team All-PacWest honors … awarded the Birdie for Team of the Year

As a Sophomore (2019) – in competition at the Sunbird Invitational, she won the 3000m race, logging a personal record 10:30.09 in the process.

As a Freshman (2018) – ran a lifetime best 40:36.92 in the 10,000m at the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational (3/16)….marked another lifetime best in the 5,000m when she clocked 18:31.28 at the Oxy Distance Carnival (3/10).

Sunbird Notes - Also a member of the cross country team.

Prior to FPU - Competed for four years on the varsity cross country team adn track and field team at Sultana High School under head coach Bonner and coach Mahr....CA State champion, winning the DIII race at Fresno’s Woodward Park in 17:30....finished fourth at Footlocker West Regional Championships and 26th at Footlocker Nationals.

Personal - Daughter of Steve and Rebecca Gaskell....has three siblings: Cody Gaskell, Ellie Hernandez and Tatelynn Caspary....chose FPU for the family atmosphere....person she most admires Steve Prefontaine....favorite tv show is Rizzoli and Isles and Best of Me....enjoys eating spaghetti....favorite book is Book Thief....Stevie is a biology major who wants to become a teacher and run in the Olympics.
