LONG BEACH, Calif. - The PacWest Conference announced the 2025-2026 All-Conference teams for men's basketball on Wednesday afternoon. Two members of FPU men's basketball team were named All-PacWest selections prior to the PacWest Championships.
Playing a crucial part in the Sunbirds offense,
Seth Brown was selected to Second Team All-PacWest. The junior from Chino Hills has collected 21 double-digit point scoring matches with six of them being higher than 20 points. He currently leads the team in several categories including points, field goals, three pointers, free throws, and minutes. His regular season performance ranked him second in three-pointers per game and third in free throw percentage.
On several occasions, Brown provided the undeniable spark for the 'Birds, sinking shots from downtown like they were nothing and providing a constant rhythm that the team could depend on. Head coach C.J Haydock mentioned that he was the initial driving force in the regular season finale win over Dominican - a win that clinched the team's spot in the conference tournament.
Joining Brown as an All-PacWest selection was senior extraordinaire
Isaac Peralta, collecting his second All-PacWest honor of his career. Peralta was appointed to the Pacwest Preseason Watch list after he earned Second Team All-PacWest in the previous season. The senior from Orange County has done wonders on the court for the Sunbirds. As a four-year Sunbird, Peralta became the fourth player to score 1K points in the NCAA era — joining Aamondae Coleman, Adrian Antunez, and Nate Kendricks.
Coming back from an injury, he earned PacWest Player of the Week with a career-best and PacWest-best 11 assists in the match versus Hawaii Hilo. On top of that, the senior point guard recently broke into FPU's All-Time for points and assists (10th) and steals (3rd). His consistent drive to facilitate the offense has placed him fourth in the PacWest in assists.
Together, Brown and Peralta have contributed to several astounding plays this season and will continue to do so as the team heads to the 2026 conference tournament. The 'Birds will compete in the PacWest Championships from March 6-7. FPU will take on CUI in the first round on Thursday at 12:30 pm.
