FRESNO, Calif.- Celebrating four seniors with the most complete showcase that included a career-best and a season-best performance, the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds (14-13 overall, 9-11 PacWest) proved too much for the Holy Names Hawks (2-25 overall, 1-18 PacWest) in a 90-63 win Saturday at the Special Events Center.

Lindsey Moody delivered a career-best 12 points plus 6 rebounds, 2 assists and a block while fellow senior
Sara Lundqvist's double-double (21 points, 13 rebounds) showcased all of Fresno Pacific's seniors.

Rachel Berry was her typical dynamic self, finishing with 16 points and getting to the line consistently. Berry also snagged 8 rebounds, active on the offensive glass.

Felicia Dourva's nine points, including FPU's final three-pointer, assured that the four Sunbird seniors were the highest scorers on the team for the day.

Things did not start like the planned celebration, with a very hungry Holy Names team, playing the final game of its existence, knocking down its first five three's and shooting 62% from the field to take a 26-16 lead on the Sunbirds.

But FPU hit the final two shots of the period to close the gap to just six points before the offense really got rolling.

The 'Birds opened the second quarter on a 13-0 run with points from five different players, and all four seniors, to take the lead.

Fresno Pacific would not surrender the lead the rest of the game.

Holy Names hit a free-throw to slightly ease the pressure, but threes by Berry and Lundqvist separated the difference to 11 points.

The Sunbirds outscored the Hawks 23-10 in the 2
nd quarter, earning a 43-36 lead at the half.

Moody powered the Sunbirds' presence in the paint as she scored four of six field goals in the third period as FPU delivered its most dominant stretch with a 27-5 stanza.

Lundqvist caught another hot-streak to start the fourth quarter as the lead ballooned to 35 at its peak.

But Holy Names offense finished valiantly, edging Fresno Pacific for the second time in a quarter by pouring in 22 points thanks to three 3-pointers.

The Sunbirds still responded with 20 points in the quarter with Dourva's corner three counting as the last points of the year for Fresno Pacific.

Lundqvist's game high 21 points and 13 rebounds close the career for a dynamic two-way player with her only double-double of the season.

Berry was a consistent scorer throughout the game to cap off her career with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Fresno Pacific closes the season with a winning record and having secured 10 wins in its final 12 games.
