The Warriors struck first just a few minutes into the match, cashing in a free-kick to hold an early 1-0 advantage.
Westmont doubled their advantage just three minutes before half when a corner towards the near post was pushed by to the edge of the 18', the Warriors recovered possession and hit a shot across the face of the goal to the far post.
Westmont led 2-0 at the half.

The Sunbirds will look to convert that experience against other long-established programs for when they open up against PacWest competition this week.
