Prior to FPU - Played at Wabash Valley College in Illinois where he averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game while shooting 54% from the field despite playing limited minutes in an injury-riddled sophomore season....averaged 17.8 points, 17.2 rebounds and 7.5 blocks as a junior at Providence St. Mel High School in Chicago before playing his senior season at Hyde Park Academy....was ranked as a top 20 player in the state of Illinois and a top 150 player in the country his senior year.

Personal - Son of Glenda Wilson....has two brothers, Jonathan and Deontae....favorite food is BBQ and soul food....favorite movies are Bad Boys 1 & 2....enjoys watching NBA TV....friend on another college team is Chris Griffin of Auburn....pregame ritual is eating a cup of noodles....favorite athletes are Kevin Durant and Kevin Garnett....Phil is a kinesiology major with plans of playing basketball professionally.
