Strength and Conditioning Mission Statement
The mission of Fresno Pacific University's strength and conditioning staff is to provide a Christ-centered, comprehensive and injury-reducing training program based on sound physiological principles. Preparing each sport individually by emphasizing sport-specific movement training, corrective exercise, and proper technique/mechanics by means of a safe, progressive exercise program. Our goal being to maximize physical function, efficiency and fortitude of our student-athletes.

Strength and Conditioning Philosophy
The Philosophy of the FPU strength and conditioning program is to reduce the likelihood of injury and improve the overall physical and mental performance of our student-athletes, using our physical gifts as athletes to honor Christ.
The design of our strength and conditioning programs will follow researched based, scientifically proven principles. These principles will be used for the development of strength, power, endurance, agility and speed of our athletes. Using positive reinforcement, proper education and a detail-focused training method, our staff is dedicated to providing our athletes with the absolute best instruction and coaching. This includes incorporating lifelong fitness principles and nutrition guidelines for overall wellness, even after collegiate athletics.
