Prior to FPU - Spent two seasons at Fresno City College under coach Jesus Reyes....finished second in the conference championship in the hammer....prepped at Buchanan High School under coach Brian Weaver....earned the Heart Award....also a member of the football team in high school.

Personal - Son of Kathy and Tim Holmes....has two siblings named Justin and Katy....enjoys eating chicken and broccoli fettuccine alfredo....favorite movie is The Italian Job....pregame ritual is to listen to heavy metal music....enjoys throwing, playing billiards and working on cars as hobbies....Tim is a kinesiology major with an emphasis in physical eduction and has plans to become a high school or junior college PE instructor and track and field coach.
