Prior to FPU - Spent one year at the College of the Sequoias under head coach Curtis Allen....prepped at Monache High School....spent three years on the varsity football team....named the Most Valuable Player in 2013.
Personal - Son of Kim and Gerardo Gonzalez....favorite food is In-N-Out Burger....listens to music as a pre-race ritual....favorite athlete is Ashton Eaton....Julian is a kinesiology major.
