Prior to FPU - Originally from Sigatoka, Fiji.....attended Marist Brothers High School, spending two years on the track team under coach Fesaitu Mario and leading his team to a Fiji national title....also played field hockey, rugby and soccer....greatest sports thrill thus far has been competing in the World University Games and the South Pacific Games.

Personal - Born April 28, 1989....parents are Noellyn and Sebastian Vollmer....has three siblings: Magdelene, George and Heinrick....chose FPU because of the way they integrate faith and sports....favorite TV shows are Heroes, Smallville and the Big Bang Theory....favorite books are Artemis Fowl, Crazy Love and Redemption....best friend on another college team is John Ellis of Azusa Pacific....pre-meet ritual is watching cartoons....favorite bands are the Beach Boys and Bob Marley....favorite sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers....favorite athletes are Bryan Clay and Trey Hardee....person he would most like to meet is Lolo Jones....hobbies include long-boarding, biking, reading, road trips and YouTube....Eugene is an applied mathematics major with plans of becoming a civil engineer.
