FRESNO, Calif.- The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds Men's Tennis team has earned Team of the Week honors after their conference/home/season opening win over the Biola Eagles this past Saturday. 

The Sunbirds clinched the doubles point and then won four singles matches, on courts three, two, four, and five. Senior Gregor Kliimask provided the match clinching win on court four, going three sets (6-1, 1-6, 6-0), giving the 'Birds the 5-2 win over the Eagles. 

In the preseason coaches poll, the Sunbirds were picked to finish sixth with 85 poll points and Biola was tabbed fifth with 105 points. 

UP NEXT

The Sunbirds will head for their first road test of the season as they face the Jessup Warriors on Wednesday in Rocklin at the Wolverine Tennis Center at 1pm.
